With Sara King stepping down in 2017 from racing, Shelby Turner, Lexi Pechout, Danika white, Dominique Daffe and Tamala Whiteside show promise to be battling for the podiums at all rounds in the next season.

Kennedy Lutz not racing The Western season in 2016 as she is in the USA racing down south at Loretta Lynns and Freestone MX events leaving the Championship open to new champions.

Lutz is set to race the East Women’s Nationals against Reigning 3 time Champion Eve Brodeur. Women are not allowed under CMRC to race both EAST & WEST series at the moment, which is why Lutz opted not to race the western round in 2017 and travel east.
