Vancouver Island Dirtbiker Shot and Killed on Family Day Feb 21.2022
Preventable Tragedy Kills Vancouver Island Dirt Biker.
It breaks our heart to hear a fellow rider was taken from us too soon. Under criminal negligence circumstances is something we never want to hear.
Simon Tozer (52) Vancouver Island Resident was out riding on Family Day weekend along Timberlands and Ninatti Road, in Ladysmith BC in the Afternoon of Feb.21.2022,
He was struck by a bullet in the chest, and with neglectable comfort to many, it is predicted he died a quick and painless death.
The Community, RCMP and Family are desperately looking anyone in the area who was shooting in the area to solve this homicide case.
We are sharing this information with the hope that no one in our community will have to go through a similar tragedy. We ask that anyone who has additional information about this incident, please call the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU) 250-380-6211 to help this investigation. If you have reports of near misses in this area or notice suspicious activity, please report it to the RCMP.
Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have been shooting recreationally in the area along Timberlands and Ninatti Road, in Ladysmith, in the afternoon of Feb. 21, 2022

Simon passed away unexpectedly, just outside of Nanaimo, on February 21st, 2022, at the age of 52. He left the world on Family Day, living life to the fullest with his son Devin, and nephew Brennan, by his side.
