Husqvarna Canada 2019 Contingency Program Announced

$380,000 is available for Canadian Husqvarna Motorcycle Riders to Earn.
Through a special partnership with Hookit.com, the www.RACEHUSKY.COM website uses the latest technology and features to help Husqvarna Motorcycles expand its support and connection between its racers, dealers and promoters.

The 2019 contingency program covers pro and amateur motorcross/supercross, off-road and flat-track series and events throughout Canada.

Competition is the essence of riding motorcycles, and as pioneers of the sport, Husqvarna Motorcycles is proud to offer an elite program that awards both amateur and pro level racers in the form of cash or Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer credit.

RACE HUSKY ELIGIBILITY

Motocross, Off-Road and Flat-Track racers who have purchased and registered a 2018 or newer Husqvarna Motorcycle and ride in the eligible series and events outlined on www.racehusky.com Your Bike must have a Canadian VIN.

  1. Go to www.racehusky.com to register or update your current profile so that you can take full advantage of the benefits the program has to offer. All Riders, dealers and promoters must be registered.
  2. Race the eligible series and events to earn cash or credit contingency redeemable at Authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealers Nationwide.

Payout Events 2019

RULES
  • Husqvarna Motorcycles North America Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this program without notice or obligation. Please review all rules before registering.
  • Contingency must be claimed and collected within 60 days of the race. No exceptions will be made. A rider has 60 days from the date of the race to claim awards regardless of whether it is for cash or dealer credit.For dealer credit, rider shall claim their award within 60 days, but they have up to a year to redeem it.
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to make sure their results have been submitted and to follow-up on the status of their payouts including Pro Payment for any races entered. If problems are encountered please submit a request at: racehusky.com/contact.
  • Pro Payments that are designated with a cash award are paid via a debit card. Debit Cards will be mailed to qualifying riders after all required forms are submitted. All cash payouts via debit cards will be paid within 30 days of results verification. Contingency can only be collected within 60 days of the race.
  • Amateur Husqvarna Motorcycles contingency is not redeemable for cash, only dealer credit. Dealer credit must be used at authorized Husqvarna Motorcycles dealer on Husqvarna Motorcycles product only.
  • Only motorcycles containing a genuine Husqvarna Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) are eligible. VIN WILL BE VERIFIED.
  • Must ride a 2018 or newer Husqvarna motorcycle to be eligible. The Husqvarna Motorcycles logo and plastic components must be displayed on the Husqvarna motorcycle for contingency eligibility. For example: a rider will not be able to collect contingency awardss if the rider changes the plastics from the stock OEM color (white) to another color and/or removing the Husqvarna emblem, logos and branding elements. We reserve the right to repeal awards based on the appearance of the motorcycle as seen in photos or videos from races. For concerns about bike graphics, please submit a request at: racehusky.com/contact.
  • Rider must own the motorcycle. Contingency not eligible when riding a dealer demo or loaned bike.
  • Must ride a Husqvarna motorcycle for the entire series to be eligible for series-end results.
  • Riders under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian consent to join program. Rider’s parents will be required to fulfil certain criteria (age confirmation via credit card payment) in order to comply with government regulations.
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to resolve eventual race result disputes with the race organizations. Riders that falsify claims will be automatically disqualified from the program. All winnings will be issued once results are entered and validated by the race promoter.
  • A minimum of 6 riders per class must be present for Husqvarna Motorcycles contingency to be awarded. Riders can only earn one award per day.For the Flat Track Canada Series, a minimum of 10 riders per class must be present for Husqvarna Motorcycles contingency to be awarded.
  • Husqvarna Motorcycles reserves the right to decide which events and classes are eligible for RaceHusky contingency.
  • Payment for the Jetwerx National pro classes will be paid within 60 days after the series has ended (even though you can earn per race).
  • Contingency award recipients in Canada grant Husqvarna Motorcycles Inc. the right to use their names, results and photos as deemed necessary in any advertising and promotion, without compensation or prior approval. Husqvarna Motorcycles Inc. reserves the right to modify or amend this program without notice or obligation.

What is the Husqvarna Contingency Program / racehusky.com?
Husqvarna offers incentives for amateur (dealer credits) and professional (cash) riders when they earn top finishes while riding Husqvarna motorcycles at select events across the United States and Canada. This is known as Contingency. There are no fees charged to riders, promoters or dealerships to participate. racehusky.com is the website used to streamline the program where riders can sign up for the program, find Husqvarna Contingency events and participating dealers as well as track the awards that have been earned and redeemed.

How do I sign up for the program?
To be eligible for Husqvarna Cash, you must have an account on racehusky.com. Sign up atracehusky.com. You will be required to add your Husqvarna Motorcycle information and some personal information so you can be verified for the program. Any rider under the age of 18 requires the consent of a parent or guardian to participate in the program, which can be provided during the signup process.

It says my email is already in use during signup?
Husqvarna has partnered with Hookit to power the new racehusky.com. This means if you are already on Hookit, you can simply use your Hookit account info to sign in, enroll in the program and view or redeem your Husqvarna Contingency awards. If you are under 18, we will still need consent during enrollment from your parent or guardian.

Can I use racehusky.com on my mobile phone?
Yes, however you must initially sign up for the program from a computer. Once setup, you can login to your account at any time by visiting racehusky.com from a web browser on your mobile device. From here, you can view awards, find Husqvarna Contingency events and nearby Husqvarna dealers to redeem your rewards.

How do I earn Husqvarna Contingency?
Husqvarna pays contingency at nearly 1,000 events / series each year in motocross, off-road and road race. You can earn Husqvarna Cash when you a finish in a paying position in a paying class at an eligible Husqvarna Contingency event. View the full list of Husqvarna Contingency events at racehusky.com/events. Husqvarna Contingency is awarded once a result in an eligible class / event / series is verified by the promoter.

What is the difference between Amateur & Pro Husqvarna Cash?
Amateur riders earn cash value credits that can be used to purchase products at any participating Husqvarna North America dealership. To find a participating Husqvarna dealer, check your local Husqvarna Dealers.

Professionals can earn Pro Husqvarna Cash awards which are paid by debit card.

To receive a debit card payment, you must compete in a national pro class. Please refer to the series payout page to see which classes payout in cash (they will have $ signs next to each amount.)

After finishing in a paying position in a paying pro class at an eligible Husqvarna Contingency event you will receive a notification on your account dashboard asking you to complete the Pro Payment Setup.

Husqvarna pro payments must be received within the calendar year of the race you are receiving awards for. It is the responsibility of the rider to follow up with the status of their pro payments for any races they enter by submitting a support request at RaceHusky.com/contact. Husqvarna will not pay a rider for any races that are outside of the current calendar year. (Ex: A rider trying to get a pro payment in May 2018 for a race in May 2017.

What does “Series End Payout” mean?
This means that you only earn the specified amounts for each class / place for the series – not for the individual events within the series. You must finish in the specified place for the Series end overall championship in that class in order to earn the contingency.

If the page says that X out of X races are paid out, you will need to look at the event list to see which races you can earn contingency at. The event will have a Husqvarna Contingency logo next to it.

When / how do I redeem my Husqvarna Cash?
Once a verified result is uploaded by the event promoter (usually within 1-2 weeks of the event date), you will receive an email notification that you have received Husqvarna Contingency.

Amateurs: Once you receive a notification, you can use your Husqvarna Contingency at any time at any participating Husqvarna dealer to purchase any product from the dealership. Purchases using Husqvarna Contingency at a dealer are limited to Husqvarna Products. To redeem, let the dealer know you are using your Husqvarna Contingency and give them your name. They will login to their account, look up your available awards and redeem for your purchase. You will be required to provide your pin number before they can redeem any Husqvarna awards. The dealer has the ability to deduct partial amounts from Husqvarna credit.

Pros: You will receive the same notification however your debit card will be filled with the new Husqvarna Cash on the date closest to the 1st and 15th of each month from the time your results are verified.

Does Husqvarna Cash expire?
Amateurs: Yes, you must use your Husqvarna Cash at a dealer within 12 months from when the award was issued. You will receive a reminder alert that an award will expire. Once the award has expired, it will not be re-issued.

Pros: You must submit your pro payment info found on your dashboard within 60 days of the race. Once submitted, the cash will be deposited to your debit card which you can save or use at any time.

How do I update my contact / bike information?
Sign in to your account and click on the ‘edit’ profile link on the top right to update your information. It is important that your contact mailing address and email address be up-to-date for you to receive your reward notifications. This cannot be done through the mobile site.

Do I need to enter my results? 
You do not need to enter your results. All results from eligible Husqvarna Contingency events are verified and uploaded by the event promoter. As long as your name and address information on your profile matches the name you use when you sign up to race, your results will be automatically linked to your profile. Please allow up to two weeks after the event to get your result and award notifications.

What if I have a problem with my Contingency?
If you ever have a contingency related issue, please submit a support request at RaceHusky.com/contact.
