RedBull Outliers 2021 Hard Enduro Press Release.

Trystan Hart Wins Canada’s Largest Hard Enduro Competition

150 riders participated in Red Bull Outliers at the Canadian Badlands

STEVEVILLE, AB (August 21, 2021) – For the second edition of the event, over 150 riders raced in Canada’s largest hard enduro competition in the Canadian Badlands. Red Bull Outliers welcomed four classifications of athletes to some of the most challenging terrain that this country had to offer with unforgiving features and slopes.

Building on the success of the event in Eau Claire Market in downtown Calgary in 2019, the course designed by Shane Cuthbertson featured a 10-kilometre track with 3000 feet of elevation change, 80-degree slopes and features as high as 640 metres.

The top spot of the day ultimately belonged to Invermere, B.C.’s, Trystan Hart in the pro category.

“It’s been incredible to come to my home country of Canada and get the first win of this new Red Bull Outliers competition,” said Hart following the event. “This event is so big for this country, we have some of the best terrain in the world, but this is a step forward of how we can showcase what we have to offer to the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship and bring the series here.”

Alongside Hart, competitors included Calgary’s own Lexi Pechout and Spenser Wilton who landed on the podiums of their respective categories.
