Silver Linings – The Jessy Nelson Story – A Motocross Injury Comeback
Jessy Nelson’s new documentary “Silver Linings: The Amazing Journey of Jessy Nelson” captures what truly lives in the heart of all dirt bikers. From Supercross podiums to a wheelchair, Jessy has fought his way back to the top of his game, only this time through inspiring others and working closely with the GoPro/Troy Lee Designs/KTM team.
Jessy experienced a crash in the outdoor motocross circuit in August of 2016 and then went through a long and torturous recovery putting him in a wheelchair with a slim possibility of ever walking again. Over time Jessy has slowly started to feel things in his legs and feet, which is a huge accomplishment for an injury of this caliber.
Many who follow him on social media have both supported him through these times, witnessed his struggles and cheered for him through his victories. However his injury has hardly slowed him down these, freshly wed and hot of the start line in March as the driver of a new 2019 race Polaris RZR, Jessy has come back strong.
