Via CMA Facebook.COMMENT REGARDING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN JETWERX INTERNATIONAL AND THE CANADIAN MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION
In February 2017 a Press Release jointly issued by Walton Raceway, Jetwerx International and the Canadian Motorcycle Association announced a partnership which would include the sanctioning of Jetwerx activities by CMA and FIM North America.Jetwerx and the CMA had a mostly common vision for a sport/business model to apply to motocross in Canada and began working on the details.
It is deeply regretted that due to circumstances beyond the control of either party, this project will not move forward in 2018.
The CMA continues to believe in the traditional concept of a contractual relationship between sanctioning body and series promoter, which works well in other jurisdictions, and hopes for its eventual implementation here in Canada.
