Motorcycle Giants Sign Pack for Universal Battery on their Electric Line. Coal powered Motorcycles coming soon.

Yamaha Motor, KTM, Honda & Piaggio Agree to use same swappable batteries in upcoming Electric Motorcycle line.
Our Take – Coal powered Motorcycles coming to a track near you. o

The world is changing and trying to adapt to the pressures of the Paris Climate Agreement, and UN2030 Goals and Politics.

With that, the worlds leading Motorcycle Manufactures are moving towards electric powered motorcycles with Lithium and LIFEPO4 cells. What does this mean? Quieter machines with no emissions on the users end, and requirement for extremely high current charging stations or swappable batteries.

While Europe and western nations still heavily rely on Coal, Natural gas, Crude Oil, and nuclear energy. Europe actually imports over 40% of its electrical grid in the form of COAL, Wood Pellets & Liquified Natural Gas (LNG)

Many infrastructures are not actually capable for more load to their already taxed and breaking systems (cough TEXAS POWER OUTAGE 2021). In which over 4.5 MILLION were without power, heat, running water and more. To Charge your Tesla Car, The worlds leading Electric Vehicle, was about $900 to fully charge when rates spiked.

It will take over 10 years for electric motorcycles to become mainstream, technology has to advance much more than what it is now, capacity must be 10x what it is. and charging stations need to be readily available and abundant for swappable batteries. What if you get to your destination and there are no ready battery packs? Almost as if there were no gas at the petrol station.

The lithium mining business is extremely lucrative and the new “green” lithium gold rush has ramped up astronomically. The Curse of the White Oil is an interesting take on the new technology we have been using for the last 30 years in the battery world.

We predict, any and all who buy electric dirtbikes, motorcycles, will also have to purcahse a 3,000 Watt generator to power their Childs new KTM, Husqarna, Yamaha, Honda. In which they require 230volts to Receive Full Charging Capability currently.

Press release of KTM AG: KTM signs a Letter of Intent with Honda, Yamaha Motor
and Piaggio for the creation of a Swappable Batteries Consortium for
Motorcycles and Light Electric Vehicles

KTM signs a Letter of Intent with Honda, Yamaha Motor and Piaggio for the
creation of aSwappable Batteries Consortium for Motorcycles and Light Electric
Vehicles

Mattighofen, March 1, 2021 – KTM AG announces today that the company has
signed a Letter of Intent with Honda Motor Co., Ltd, Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd and
Piaggio & C SpA to set up a Swappable Batteries Consortium for Motorcycles and
Light Electric Vehicles.

In the context of the Paris Climate Agreement and the development of
electromobility, the founding members of the consortium believe that the
availability of a standardized swappable battery system would both promote the
widespread use of light electric vehicles and contribute to a more sustainable
life-cycle management of batteries used in the transport sector.

Also, by extending the range, shortening the charging time and lowering
vehicle and infrastructure costs, the manufacturers will try to answer to
customers’ main concerns regarding the future of electromobility.

The aim of the Consortium will, therefore, be to define the standardized
technical specifications of the swappable battery system for vehicles
belonging to the L-category: mopeds, motorcycles, tricycles and quadricycles.
By working closely with interested stakeholders and National, European and
International standardization bodies, the founding members of the Consortium
will be involved in the creation of international technical standards.

The Consortium will start its activity in May 2021. The four founding members
encourage all interested stakeholders to join the cooperation to enrich the
consortium’s expertise.

Stefan Pierer, KTM AG CEO:
“Sustainability is one of the key drivers to the future of mobility and
electrification will play a major role in achieving this goal. For powered
two-wheelers the constraints of electric drivetrains regarding range, charging
time and initial cost are still evident. To overcome these challenges and
provide a better customer experience, a swappable battery system based on
international technical standards will become a viable solution. Considering
the entire lifecycle, a widespread application of batteries compliant with a
common standard will support secondary use as well as circular economy. We are
glad to be part of the Consortium as we strive towards our goals in the
e-mobility sector.”

KTM has been a part of the electric two-wheeler industry from the very get-go
and has developed key products in the electric segment in its drive for
innovation, while encouraging new entrants to motorcycling and also helping to
grow the next generation of riders.
